Ok... Here is what I am/have been using since about 1999 but I know they are 22 years old. 24gram Den Priestleys (knurled barrels)-barrel 44mm long Unicorn Gripper11 Medium Stems A180 Standard Poly flights (I prefer the polys to the A180 tough flights) 41mm Long points (I put the grooves in them) They are that slippery its ridiculous, I know that all Priestleys went like that after awhile! I use Mighty Grip and it helps but I still get the spin every now and then on release, hoping to try a set of the Phase 5's! Unfortunately we here in OZ cannot "try befor you buy" and they are not cheap so will be put on hold.. Anyway hope you like the pictures I finally posted I do beleive (even though I know the grip gets battered but is still a tough grip) that I will be able to handle them and being 26grams I would use the weight to do the work to the board as now days I struggle with the weight "IF" I have darts with not much grip!

Sure Cameron... BUT you have to "aquire" a taste for them.. I am one that has.. its just getting used to the 26gram weight after using a 24gram dart for so many years http://www.a180.co.uk/shop/product.php?xProd=2005&xSec=1 go to and "add to basket" follow the steps to checkout (Use the offer code wazza180) and there you go.. a brand new set of 2010 Phil Taylor Phase 5 darts

Got rid of the Phase 5's as I really couldnt handle the weight and I wasnt consistant with them, was talking to karl on the phone and noticed a set in the site that looked like my orig darts which this year (2010) are now 23 years old! BULLS V8 24grams A180 in between personalised stems (advertising A180 also) A180 Flights Same points I have been using for last 3 years that I got from Simon Whitlock.. very worse for wear but the do the job, thats the main thing

If i am totally honest the darts were fantastic and very well made. The only problem i had was i hold the darts at the bottom of the barrel near the point so the darts were landing in a strange angle which i didnt like. I would highly recommend a set Cheers

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and would just like some feedback on my darts. They are Tungsten/Copper (circa 1979), not sure of the percentage, 27g with 50mm barrels, 35mm stems (nylon), nylon flight protectors and Dimplex standards. I have been using 48mm stems (nylon) with plain poly standards, but found I was getting a strange wobble in flight, resulting in some strange angles hitting the board. I've now switched to the shorter ones, but have found that the problem is worse unless I get a near perfect release, and a pretty hard throw. Anyway, pictures are below. (White 48mm stems, standard poly). Same barrel (Black 35mm stems, Dimplex marathon). Going to try a different grip, see if that helps the release.
