ADRIAN LEWIS claimed his first PDC ProTour win of 2010 with a 6-4 win over Mark Walsh in the final of Sunday's German Darts Classic Players Championship.
The 25-year-old from Stoke picked up the £6,000 title in Gladbeck with a fine performance, coming from 4-3 down to take three successive legs in winning the final.
Lewis produced legs of 11 and 15 darts to lead 2-0 in the final - hitting a showpiece 96 finish of single 20, double 18 and double top in the second.

VINCENT VAN DER VOORT won his first PDC title with a 6-2 defeat of Wayne Jones in the final of Saturday's German Darts Classic Players Championship in Gladbeck.
Van der Voort celebrated three years on the PDC circuit by claiming his first title in his fourth final, having lost two previous PDC ProTour events and the 2007 UK Open final.

PHIL TAYLOR returned to top form in condemning reigning Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts champion James Wade to a third successive defeat this season with an 8-3 triumph in Belfast.
Wade's slow start to the 2010 season continued with another below-par display, as he failed to match Taylor's impressive scoring as the World Champion piled in six maximums and a 104 average.

THE Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts visits Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Thursday night, with Phil Taylor looking to take first blood against James Wade in the battle to reclaim his title. Left-hander Wade succeeded Taylor as Premier League Darts champion last May when the Stoke legend's bid for a fifth successive title was stopped at the semi-final stage by Mervyn King.

THE 2010 Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts season kicks off on Thursday night at The O2 in London - but four-time champion Phil Taylor is battling to shake off a virus ahead of his opening clash with Simon Whitlock.
A crowd of up to 10,000 fans are expected to pack into the Greenwich venue, which is hosting the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts for the first time on the opening night of the 2010 event.
The four fixtures on the night are due to culminate in a rematch of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship final as Phil Taylor takes on Simon Whitlock.

Australia's Paul Nicholson shocked world champion Phil Taylor on the way to victory in the Players Championship at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
The 30-year-old defeated defending champion Taylor 10-9 in a close semi-final, before beating Mervyn King 13-10 to seal his first major PDC event win.
